Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about ordering, delivery, flower care, and more.
We don't have an automated checkout for flowers yet — we handle orders personally to ensure freshness and availability. Email hello@sugaroaklane.com or use the contact form on our site. Include what you're looking for, your preferred date, and any color preferences. We'll confirm availability and send a quote within 24–48 hours.
We offer both! Local delivery is available within approximately 15 miles of Loganville, GA — covering Loganville, Grayson, Lawrenceville, Snellville, and surrounding areas. We also offer farm pickup by appointment. Visit our Delivery Info page for full details including delivery fees and windows.
For standard bouquets and arrangements, 48–72 hours notice is ideal but we can often accommodate same-day or next-day orders depending on what's in season. For weddings, events, and workshops, we recommend reaching out 2–6 months in advance. Our peak season (June–October) books fastest.
We deliver within approximately 15 miles of the farm in Loganville, GA. This includes Loganville, Grayson, Lawrenceville, Snellville, Monroe, and parts of Conyers. If you're outside this range, you're welcome to arrange farm pickup. See our full Delivery Info page for details.
Our main crops include dahlias (50+ varieties), zinnias, sunflowers, sweet peas, cosmos, lisianthus, ranunculus, anemones, snapdragons, stock, celosia, globe amaranth, strawflowers, eucalyptus, and a range of foliage and filler. Availability varies by season — we post updates on the blog.
We practice what we call "non-certified organic" — meaning we follow organic principles (no synthetic pesticides, no synthetic herbicides, composted soil) but haven't pursued USDA organic certification. We're happy to discuss our growing practices in detail. Just ask.
Yes — and we encourage it! When you place an order, tell us your color preferences and any must-have flowers. We'll do our best to honor requests based on what's in season. For weddings and events, we work with detailed flower lists and offer consultations.
We may substitute with a similar flower of equivalent or greater value if a specific bloom isn't available at cutting time. You can specify up to 2 "must-have" flowers that we'll never substitute. See our full Substitution Policy for details.
Properly cared for, most of our farm-cut flowers last 5–12 days. Exact vase life depends on the variety — dahlias average 5–7 days, zinnias 7–10, lisianthus up to 14. Read our full care guide on the blog for tips on maximizing vase life.
Yes! We offer wholesale pricing for florists, event planners, restaurants, and other businesses. Minimum order $99. Visit our Wholesale page to learn more and fill out an inquiry form.
Workshop bookings are handled through our contact form or by emailing hello@sugaroaklane.com. We offer individual tickets for open workshops and private group bookings. Visit the Workshops page for available experiences and pricing.
We do not offer refunds for subjective dissatisfaction — flowers are a natural product and individual blooms vary. We do offer refunds for non-delivery, significant damage (reported with photo evidence within 2 hours of delivery), or a clearly wrong order. See our full Refund Policy for complete details.
